Can't Start Mysql For First Time
I've just installed mysql for Unix on Mac (Fink project, uses debian software) and tried command mysql. I get the following error message:
ERROR 2002 (HY000): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (2)
What to do? TIA.
