Synchronisation for multiple write / access to a single database

Hi,

I have a single MySql database in a VM, I have serveal other services to write to the same single MySql database table, I suppose that MySql will do the lock to synchronise the multiple writes and I don't need to worry about conflicts caused by multiple writing processes, is it correct or should I do something myself?
