Hi there guys and girls, I am new to this website so have figureed that I should just post this request in the Newbie coloum. However I do have a good understanding of MySQL and DB management. I have a bit of an issue that I cannot seem to resolve. I am trying to generate a statement that can compare to date feilds. One is Julian and the other is "2007-05-18" Dont ask me why some muphet put the date format in Julian, its an old infomix system which has been converted to MySQL and this has been inherited from the past.

So I cannot seem to convert the Julian format into something that I can use to link to the other table with. If anyone has any bright ideas, this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
