How to fix this error?

I was install Apache 2.50 / PHP 4.8 and new version of Mysql 5.0.1 and I try to connect this MySql via Web with phpMyAdmin, but everytime I try to connect I was get this error?

#1250 - Client does not support authentication protocol requested by server; consider upgrading MySQL client

what should I do, and make my Apache / PHP can connect to MySql server??? and what wrong?
