Yes that's exactly what I meant, We have no need of greater precision. I thought that reducing the precision would reduce the space occupied by the data and thus improve performance...

But for about 4 years of data (every 5 minutes per sensors). Runnig the request of my previous post is quite long.

Maybe I will go for the TIMESTAMP field. But what happens there in 2038? LoL
