Ok, 'frontend' was the terminology I was looking for!!
Is this method 'transparent' so to speak to the existing application? By this I mean that the application thinks it is still dealing with Access and would have no idea that it is really dealing to MySQL?
Can this be used with an existing application that already has an existing Access db, or will it only work for a new setup?
I apologize for my lack correct technical terms, but I am using laymans terms to try and get a better understanding.
Thanks
