Re: MySQL 5 for production
The stored procedures and functions are the major attraction of v5 to me. Do you think it is not wise to use v5 and its procedure/function features in a production environment, yet? Upgrading from v4 to v5 may not be complicated but re-writing all the logic from the business layer into backend procedures/functions (database layer) later and re-testing them is going to be an expensive affair.
