How do you mean exactly that category and product type are dependant? You mean that for a product type there is also a one to many relationship for categories? In that case your problem would be to restrict the product_categories_resolver so that the product type of the product and the product type of the category are the same, right?
BTW seems kind of odd, a product falling in multiple categories. If a product has multiple categories, are these categories interraletad, I mean do the categories reflect some hierarchy?
Please send some example data, as real as it gets please.
