I 'do' have access to a server running 4.1.9 that I can use if absolutely neccesary. The problem is that my main host won't come off 4.0x because cPanel can't seem to get around to officially supporting 4.1 during this millenium. I 'can' do it this way, but it's a pita because I'll have to replicate tens of thousands of records over 'JUST' to run one query.
