How to get MySQL concurrent query nos.

I am stuck with this issue, I don't know a good and easy way to find out the max no. of concurrent MySQL queries on a running mysql server.

We have cacti graphs but the best I could get from them are the command counters (with the least granularity of a second not concurrent queries).

MySQL administrator shows the no. of current queries (but I am not sure if that means concurrent).

If anyone could help me translate queries/sec into concurrent queries then that would work as well.

Any help would be truly appreciated.

tx
