Can't save data into database

Hi I'm having trouble with my MYSQL database. Please forgive me if I am not clear as I am a complete n00b at this.
I used the PHPMagic program to create a database. It can create one and I can edit and insert data via phpmyadmin but from the web form it won't save anything into it. I do have a second mysql server and uploaded the same files and replicated the same setup and it works fine. (http://www.zgeek.com/test/deft_payments_view.php)
I thought it was to do with my permissions but I have ALL PRIVILEGES on my login which I use in the database connection. I also use the same account to host a vbulletin database which works perfectly. Sorry if I sound lame, but I stuck and have no idea what to do.
