Thanks Felix,
I'm roughly following your example -- but am a tad confused.
Is the foo table a list of the field names -- and then the WS_CONCAT returns a string I can parse which has the ID of the "real" row/record -- followed by the field name from foo IF it matched -- or NULL if not?
