Re: Populating database tables from Excel text file

I click on the database table link (in the left margin of PHP Admin) that I would like to populate and then click on the link: "Insert data from a textfile into table"
From this area I have tried every combination I can think of and receive the same error message each time I attempt to upload the file:

MySQL said:

#1148 - The used command is not allowed with this MySQL version

I saved my Excel file as each of the following:
CVS (comma diliminated)
CVS (OS/2 or MS-DOS)
And then I opened them in Text Edit and saved as .txt. I also ensured the return carrage for each line without success.

I appreciate your help with this.
