recommendations for an advanced query building tools?
Ahoy, I am one of serveral java developers that are working on an accounting package, that uses an SQL data source. each app we work on, be it a user app(gl, chart of accounts) or reports(sales registers, monthly sales report) from the database. We don't use out query skill to often, usually on the the developing phase of the report or app, and then in troubleshooting bugs. I am wonder if there is a recommendation for a program out there that would help a "decent" SQL user to design advanced queries. A program that focus less on the administering the database and more with the writing of queries.
