OS 10.4.2, MySQL 4.1, and storage of databases?

Ok, I need to know, using the OS X installer for MySQL 4.1... the install went fine, and it start up like a champ... but here is my question...
Where are the databases stored? I am moving from Complete MySQL to the MySQL here... I have a database I need transfered over, but for some reason I can't find the databases that this new version of MySQL creates resides in...
Any help would be appreciated.... thanks in advance.
