Hi
I have installed, mysql server 5.0 in my Windows 7 machine and I try to access the server using the mysql command line client. When I restart my system and try to connect to the database, Im unable to connect to the mysql database using the 'mysql command line client'. It prompts me for the password, when I type in the password, the screen disappears.
I had to reset my password again and then it allows me to login. Please let me know how to solve this issue. After I restart my windows machine, do I need to do anything before connecting to the mysql command line client.
Please advise. Thanks
