That page explains how file size limits impact MySQL tables & databases.
The relationship between database size and table size also depends on which storage engines the tables use, and on storage engine settings that are in effect when the tables are created. Those relationsjips can be complex. See the manual section on storage engines.
I do not understand "mysql query is merely within table level, without considering the entire database (other tables indeed)".
