Re: Converting Access to MySQL

The first website I ever made, that I was paid for, used Cold Fusion against Access. One day I got a phone call to the effect of "why does the website say OWNED BY XXXXX". We moved it in-house, converted it to LAMP, and I never looked back. I do remember liking Cold Fusion, however. For the record, the host got hacked.

I haven't touched Access in years, and the last export I was involved with was attached to a flat file, then about 3 steps later brought into MySQL. But there certainly have to be tools to do this. Just Google it and go.
