Assign result of a "Handler" command to a variable
I am running MySQL 5.0.15-nt on a windows machine (XP Prof). I have a 1-column table. when I run the query "Handler lastname read first", or "handler lastname read last", the system returns the proper value. It displays the "first" or the "next" record in my table. How do I capture or assign the value of the "resulting row" to a variable?
