#1142 - SELECT command denied to user ''@'localhost' for table 'pma_recent'

Hi All,
I have used mysql before. I have installed XAMPP in new machine. I am just logging into phpmyadmin by root user.
But whatever I do it gives the error message: #1142 - SELECT command denied to user ''@'localhost' for table 'pma_recent' . Any solution??
