Hi,

I installed MySQL 5.4 on a server and immediately the service seems to be listening on hundreds of tcp ports. I did a netstat -ano and see a lot of the following:

TCP 127.0.0.1:3306 127.0.0.1:49969 TIME_WAIT 0
TCP 127.0.0.1:3306 127.0.0.1:49970 TIME_WAIT 0
TCP 127.0.0.1:3306 127.0.0.1:49973 TIME_WAIT 0
TCP 127.0.0.1:3306 127.0.0.1:49974 TIME_WAIT 0
TCP 127.0.0.1:3306 127.0.0.1:49976 TIME_WAIT 0
TCP 127.0.0.1:3306 127.0.0.1:49977 TIME_WAIT 0
TCP 127.0.0.1:3306 127.0.0.1:49978 TIME_WAIT 0
TCP 127.0.0.1:3306 127.0.0.1:49979 TIME_WAIT 0
