NO BEEP & mysqldump

Hello -
When I ran mysqldump command, I got the error
unknown command, --no-beep
I commented out the option in the my.ini and now mysqldump works. But now, for any wrong command, the DOS beeps.
How can I keep the option --no-beep in my.ini file and yet run mysqldump.
