Re: Migrating mysql databases into new server
Let me explain what is the scenario:
We are migrating mysql databases from one storage(SAN) to another SAN in a different location.
LUNS would be copied from one storage to another means in target mount points would be same as in source data would be replicated via SAN replication.
On the target, it will be a new linux installation and new mysql installation.
After LUNS are copied and mysql installation is done, what are the steps I need to follow in order to bring the databases up and running in target?
There are 10 databases in two linux servers. Per mysql instance, there are 5 databases.
Any help would be appreciated.
Regards,
Yasir
