Problem adding old database to MySQL Server 5.7

Hello,

I installed MySQL server 5.7 without noticing that an older version was previously installed. When I found out that an old version was also in the system I uninstalled it.

Now I want to add the old databases which are located under
MySQL_DATA/MySQL Server/ that contains a data and innodb folder

into my new installation of version 5.7.

I tried copying the contents from this folder into the new datadir location. I am also using phpmyadmin. When I open phpmyadmin, I see the old database names are there, but when I try opening a table I get

#1146 Table doesn't exist

for any tables of the old databases.

Can someone please help me to import the old databases into the new installation? I don't have .sql files for this, just all the data in the data folder from the old installation.
