Schema Path

MySql Server ver 8.0
MySql Workbench ver 6.3

I have a schema that stubbornly keeps showing up in my Workbench connections even though I have dropped it and deleted it's folder from the "Data" directory. If I create a new connection, it is listed. Using the "Drop Database" sql statement results in an error stating the database does not exist.

So, is there a path to a file that points to a saved schema or even some sort of file that actually represents the schema? Is there a console command? I've looked through Mysql dir in "Program Files", in "ProgramData", and in "Appdata\Roaming". I've even searched the registry. Perhaps I used the wrong keys to search for: mysql and schema. No luck.

Can anyone help?
