Hello Peter....thanks for your reply....I am not entirely clear on what you mean by running that particular query in the mysql client?

Access to the database records is pretty basic....the end user who has an IP address in the 200 range and above just opens a Browser such as Google Chrome and on the initial local INTRANET search page enters the name or file number of the record they want to access...this brings up a drop down list of records with similar name or file number to select from and then the selection is made as to which record to open. The fields are then populated with the selected record info.

Anyone that is not in the 200 and above range is not able to load the initial search page.
