I did get the moving avg data into a db table using INSERT SELECT from phpmyadmin where a result was getting returned.
but yes, in getting to that work around I recognise setting up local db is really the sensible approach to helping myself. Guess that will be the next challenge over next few days
As an aside can I please check the forum etiquette? I was concerned my thread was getting messy and really just reflecting my learning curve rather than asking a clear question. Could not find how to edit it to clean it up.
Is there a preference re the management of a thread to help keep it on message? (Not posting clear on issue is not always easy when not yet @ 20:20 hindsight)
