You keep asking why it's on ISAM.....cause it is...lol
It ran in 28 seconds on ISAM before, so I don't see the point of going to innodb.....in fact....maybe I can get rid of the innodb stuff in my.cnf altogether?
I don't know why there are innodb values in the status page at all, since I'm not using it.
And the 'old DV' was actually a DS.....
The DV I'm on now is the second one I got.......like I said the first DV also had 2G and the script ran in 1:30 ......so I'm ASSUming...lol....there are some settings that are different on this second one.....hence my original question........what values should I use on the various options available??
Maybe delayed write of some kind?......every record in the DB IS getting updated on this script.....I just don't get why it can't totally run in memory.......it's a TINY DB, relatively speaking.......
