SQL server (from Microsoft) is different from MySQL (from Oracle) and has some different syntax.
You will have many issues like that if you try to use MySQL database if
book recommends SQL Server. You rather want to use SQL server, as book recommends, or find some other book (or maybe other chapter from the same book) which will rely on MySQL.
