How to connect MySQL to different database
Just to be clear, I am NOT talking about a non-MySql db connecting to MySQL.
I am asking if there is any way that I can pull data using MySql server FROM another server that is running a different db engine. I do this commonly and easily in sql server using odbc.
There has to be a way to do this, but all the searching I do just yields results of how to connect to a MySql instance.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.
