Re: Can MySql prompt be set to match Sybase prompt

Peter,

Thanks for the pointer.
Probably a misapprehension on my part but we're not having success tweaking the prompt.
We presently have Sybase as our primary database engine.
We're working on having a 'mysql' variant on the shelf and what we currently have installed and are testing is [a] FreeTDS.
We refer to it as mysql or just sql to differentiate from Sybase.
It (the FreeTDS install) has an isql link to its fisql.
That isql doesn't seem to know about a prompt command (or we don't know how to enter it).
I guess I came to the wrong place and we'll have to track down FreeTDS support.
My mistake.

Thanks.
Geo
