syntax error in table creation

Hey guys, I'm just starting SQL and I'm trying to make my first database. I've already ran into a problem with my first table that has me stumped. It tells me this:
Error Code: 1064. You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MariaDB server version for the right syntax to use near '(member_id) )' at line 5

I've compared to other simple tables and I can't tell anything I'm doing wrong.
This is my code that is producing the error, and thanks in advance!:

CREATE TABLE members (
member_id SMALLINT UNSIGNED NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT,
name VARCHAR(60) NOT NULL,
member_status ENUM('PLATINUM', 'GOLD', 'SILVER', 'BRONZE', 'NAM')
PRIMARY KEY (member_id)
);
