Hmmm... Well..

It breaks the configuration process. IIRC, starting the service is about halfway through the steps.

Subsequent attempts to reconfigure MySQL result in an Unhandled Exception when entering the current password and clicking Check.. In this case the error is "Keyword not supported: ';protocol" (Yes, there is no backslash on this particular error).

I therefore cannot determine what parts of the configuration have not been completed. Well.. I guess I could just restore my server from a back up image, reinstall MySQL and note all of the steps before I click execute.. I'll try that later.. The server is used during the day.

However - Does the service start, yes.

I haven't tried to do anything further as I was hoping to resolve this issue before continuing.
