Take two tables here NAME & LOCATION

Queries:

SELECT a.sno,b.sno,a.name,b.location
FROM NAME AS a
JOIN LOCATION AS b ON a.sno=b.sno
GROUP BY a.sno,b.location

SELECT a.sno,b.sno,a.name,b.location
FROM NAME AS a
JOIN LOCATION AS b ON a.sno=b.sno
GROUP BY a.sno,b.location,b.sno

Query 1 would fail in Mysql 5.6 while Query 2 would pass in both versions
