Yikes, inadequate backup for a relational database unless the db server has been shut down in a consistent state before the backup software runs. With db servers you mustn't try to count on such backups.
You can now log in as root with the privs you just posted? Can root see the MailStewardPro data, or do you not know enough about SQL to find it?
Surely MailStewardPro doesn't use root. It will need its username & password.
Log settings are in the config file my.cnf--when you find what logs are set, read about how to use those at

The more you write about this, the more it appears MailStewardPro has had a failure, have you asked them for help? If MailStewardPro needs its users to have significant mysql skills, do they say that in their docs?
