Error when importing data

When I import a database I get many times the same two error messages:
2019-04-17 15:08:20 6208 [ERROR] Incorrect definition of table mysql.column_stats: expected column 'min_value' at position 3 to have type varbinary(255), found type varchar(255).
2019-04-17 15:08:20 6208 [ERROR] Incorrect definition of table mysql.column_stats: expected column 'max_value' at position 4 to have type varbinary(255), found type varchar(255).
What could this be? How can I correct this?
Is this a problem? Things seem to work ok.
