Need something better than PhpMyAdmin

Hey guys I am creating a file-upload website that is going to hold a lot of files. I am currently using PhpMyAdmin but I don't like it, is there something better I can use to manage my MySqL database? In college I used MySQL server and I loved it but it is too pricy. Looking for something in the middle of the road with lots of storage.
