Thanks, i understand. Logrotate version 3.14.0 would either have been provided in the default install of Ubuntu or Webmin installed it.

Thanks but I am not running Amazon lightsails database instance, as described here https://lightsail.aws.amazon.com/ls/docs/en_us/articles/amazon-lightsail-databases, nor is it Amazon RDS/

I installed mysql8 community edition downloaded from Oracle myself.
