Select error

Hi,
I´m a newie and recently converted my access database to mysql.
When accessing the db on server i get an error like:

Error Type:
ADODB.Recordset.1 (0x80004005)
SQLState: S1000 Native Error Code: 1142 [TCX][MyODBC]select command denied to user: 'my_user@localhost' for table 'tblrecords'

What is this?
I´m running an asp app and tried a php and that was working fine.
