Communication between Windows 10 and Windows CE

Hello there
I am trying to establish a connection between two computers - one is running Windows 10 and the second is running Windows CE. On my windows 10 PC i have installed mysql and the other PC is actually a beckhoff plc. On the plc i have a database server. I am not able to communicate between the 2 computers. Would appreciate if someone here encountered the same issue and can assist me.
