Upgrade 5.1.47 myisam to 8.0
I am wondering if there are structural changes in the myisam format that would prevent us from simply installing mysql 8.0 and plopping in the old files to the appropriate data directory. Note, I have tried that, and at least upon initial examination, it seems to work. However I have concerns about subtle, or otherwise, format differences that down the road would cause issues. I see a lot of doc-talk on 5.7 to 8.0, but I have come up empty handed for 5.1.47.
Any guidance is appreciated.
