Hi All
I wanted to introduce myself as a Noobie to these forums and to MySQL.
I've had 'some' DB experience of the years, but recently it's been mainly with SQLite and Xojo.
I'm now in a situation where I have an application that sits on a server (with its SQLite DB) and SQLite doesn't do well in that situation (apparently).
I'll be trying to implement the following:
1. 2 different MySQL development machines, 1 at work and 1 at home
2. 1 'server' to host the runtime MySQL DB
3. 1 'server' to host my Xojo application with user access
At this stage, I have no idea how this is going to happen, but hey, where's the fun if it's easy right?
Anyhoo ... really just wanted to say hi.
Looking forward to MySQL and the community. 👍
