ERROR 3679 (HY000): Schema directory './Northwind/' does not exist

i imported a .SQL file that was generated or dumped from SQL Server for their sample Northwind database file. as i'm still learning my way around SQL, i somehow ended up with two databases with same name (Northwind and northwind).

now when i try to delete "Northwind" database, i get:

ERROR 3679 (HY000): Schema directory './Northwind/' does not exist


how to resolve this please?
