Is adminer safe to use with MySQL?

I am attempting to create a backup of my organization's MYSQL database, but I don't have direct command line access to the server. Therefore, I'm relying on a webserver-based tool called Adminer.

I have concerns regarding the safety and security of using such tools, especially considering that the data being backed up is highly confidential. Losing this data is not an option, so I need to ensure that the chosen tool is reliable and secure. Can you provide guidance on the safety of using webserver-based tools like Adminer for this purpose?
