Does Defragmentation of Database cause Spike in CPU resources
We are using MySQL 8.0.41 on RHEL server, we are trying to set up, DC-DR replication and we took entire dump of DC and restored it in DR. Post restoration the DB size shrunk, i am assuming because of De-fragmentation.
We connected the application to DR DB and noticed that there is a huge spike in the CPU resource utilization. Is it because of De-Frag? how to overcome this issue, the application seems to work fine in DC.
Thanks in advance
