Any Impact of Oracle Restructuring on MySQL?

[Raj Mane]

I’m a little concerned about the possible impact of Oracle’s restructuring on MySQL. If the restructuring results in fewer developers and support engineers working on MySQL, it could affect bug fixes, new releases, and the level of technical support available to users.

For businesses that have relied on MySQL for many years, moving to another database is not an easy decision. It would probably be better to monitor the situation closely and start evaluating alternatives rather than making an immediate switch.

Hopefully, the MySQL community and other companies involved in the ecosystem will continue supporting development and keeping the project moving forward.
