Hi Nick,

Sorry for being unclear, but yes what you are saying is correct...
I want to remove " from one column, $ from the next and % from the third

and the characters are always always in the same location either first or last character...

if you also have a solution for if they can occur anywhere.. that would be great as well.. {but this one is just for knowledge.. the top solutions are a need.. }
