Re: Accidentally deleted root account - backup available, how to restore?

I read that earlier today after I made my brilliant mistake :(
There's a problem running this procedure (i've tried several times, and variations).. the root account is -gone- and can't be reset, nor is there permission to re-add it into MySQL.
I can't reproduce the error messages from where i'm currently located, i'll have to get back on that tomorrow.
I need a way to restore the 'mysql' tables from the backup sql file so the root account is restored with it, the other usernames aren't that important.
