ERROR 1044 Access Denied?
I just started using MySQL today!
I love it! but, I ran into a problem. After filling out the MySQLAdmin>Quick Setup>Username & Password feilds> and then entering the MySQLAdmin program I then proceeded to startup MySQL Monitor. Afterwards I typed in "created database xxx;" SQL returned: error 1044: Access Denied for user: "@localhost" to database "xxx" (name given to sample database) I am trying to learn MySQL for school because I am also going to be starting PHP. I have begun usning tutorials for PHP but I am blocked becaue they use MySQL with and Apache server for the demonstraiton. I also have an Apache server but I am unable to get it to work or to tell how to allow PHP scripts to function.
