MySQL - cause of view definition to change to all 1s for the column values

I have a view in MySQL database whose definition has gotten changed from
create view v1 select a.id AS id, a.created_date AS created_date from t1;
to
create view v1 select 1 AS id, 1 AS created_date

What are some of the MySQL operations that can cause that to happen? Is there a bug in MySQL that can cause this?
